Sponsor spotlight #bellies2babies Lola's Lovies

When Charlie was born, I was lucky enough to have a chance to review a taggie blanket for Charlie.  I was super excited!  When Maggie was born, we received tons of fun and cute stuff.  With Charlie, that wasn't the case, so I was thrilled to have something a little less pink to give him.  Plus, it is so doggone cute!!

What is this taggie blanket I speak of?  This taggie blanket is a perfect 16" x 16" size that makes it a perfect take along "toy".  I know many kids that love to have something to snuggle with in the carseat or stroller.   This one is made from 9 different Robert Kaufman 100 % cotton fabrics on the front, and the back side is a super soft blue minky that baby will love snuggling with.  The hidden inner layer is made of white flannel.  Each square is stitched in an X.  It is made in a rag style quilt with different colored ribbons all around it.  As you wash the blanket, it becomes more raggy looking.  Each ribbon is about 2" making it just perfect for those little hands to grab onto.

I think my favorite thing about this taggie blanket is the handle.  It snaps around the carseat handle, stroller, whatever you may use it on, so when you are out and about, you don't have to worry about it falling and getting full of germs or lost.  I love how soft this is and how much care you can see went into making this for my little Charlie man.  It comes pre-washed in an eco-friendly detergent (yay!). I love the adorable prints that we have on ours.

As you can see, Charlie man loves his Lola's Lovies taggie blanket.  We take it in the carseat wherever we go.  Lola's Lovies doesn't just stop at taggie blankets though.  You can get full crib sets, growth charts, diaper bags and much more!  You can rest assured that any purchase you make will have the same detail and care put into it that our taggie does.  If you are looking for something for your little one, or that perfect baby shower gift, be sure to visit Lola's Lovies and make that mama to be very happy.

This week only, get 10 % off just for liking Lola's Lovies on Facebook!  And get a free taggie blanket with any crib set purchase.  Happy shopping!

One lucky reader will win the exact one pictured below as part of the Babies to Bellies giveaway event starting January 5th, 2013!

  8. That handle is so awesome! There is nothing I hate more than having to bend down to pick up the blanket - especially this time of year when it gets thrown onto slushy parking lots, etc.

  12. That is so cute. I've never had Taggie anything for my babies until my new little one was born 13 weeks ago. We were handed down some cute taggie toys and I bought baby girl a Taggie book for Christmas and she likes it a lot. She hasn't had much chance to play with the toys yet 'cause she's still learning to work her hands but my guess is she'll like them a lot. I was thinking about making a taggie lovey for her but it also looks like a lot of work. I'll have to check out this shop.

  13. To answer your questions: She has one giraffe lovey a friend gave her but she was very small when she got it so I haven't given it back to her to see if she likes it or not. My favorite Item at Lola's Lovies is the Zebra and Pink Rag Taggie.

  23. My daughter never had a blanket with tags or a lovey from Lola's Loveys. She does have some small stuffed animals that we keep in her bed. When we were phasing out the binkies we made sure she got something else to hold on to for falling asleep.
