I had the opportunity to review two different products from Aurorae Yoga, the Aurorae Synergy Yoga Mat, and the Aurorae Micro-Fiber Sport / Yoga Towel.
The Synergy Mat is ultra thick for comfort and to protect your joints. We have hardwood floors in most of our house, and I love how thick this mat is. Even when I'm not using it for exercise, I keep this mat laid out in the hallway. It is 72" and definitely long enough to work for everybody. Because it is so light weight and easy to carry, my 2 year old daughter keeps stealing it! This mat is really cushy and works great for me. My back has hurt since having Charlie man, and the extra cushion makes a big difference.
The mat is made with 5mm PER yoga mat on the bottom surface and the lush, slip free microfiber towel as the top surface. The Synergy mat works opposite the Classic and Northern Lights mats. It is ultra absorbent, and the wetter it gets, the better your grip will be. In fact, they even recommend spraying some water lightly onto the mat where your hands and feet go in the downward dog pose. This means, no using your towel to keep from slipping and having it move or bunch up.
The Synergy mat is durable and long lasting and doesn't hold any odor. Aurorae's golden sun makes a great focal icon for concentration during balance poses. Plus, a few things I really love; it is free from phthalates, latex and silicone. And, SGS tested and approved eco-friendly and safe. This means, I can rest easy while my 2 year old jumps around on it.

The Aurorae Micro-Fiber Sport/Yoga Towel is made from eco-safe 80% polyester and 20 % polycimide. The towel is 30" x 20" and is perfect to place on your yoga mat where your hands or feet go to prevent you from slipping. Or, roll it up for some extra knee cushion or lift.I love that this towel is soft and absorbent for wiping away perspiration. It is machine washable, long lasting, and great for yoga, the gym, or anything else. It even makes a great yoga mat for Maggie when I can get her to stop stealing mine!

ReplyDeleteHe has mad skills too! I try to walk on the treadmill, but Maggie jumps on and then I have to go 1.2 mph. Still moving, but just barely!

ReplyDeleteThat picture looks *so* familiar! That happens to me every time I try to workout, too, lol!!! I've had pains whenever I sit every since my DD was born - it would be nice to have an extra-cushy pad. Sounds great :)

ReplyDeleteThe Synergy Yoga mat looks amazing! I love that when a workout gets a little sweaty (or "glistening", as my mother says), it doesn't turn into a Slip'n'Slide! And it's long enough for those of us who are of above average height! Awesome product, awesome review.
